1. What is UBUYIT?
UBUYIT is an online marketplace where Zambians can resell items they no longer need, promoting sustainability through Reduce, Reuse, Resell. Buyers and sellers connect directly to make safe, simple transactions.
2. How do I become a seller on UBUYIT?
To sell on UBUYIT:
- Register and complete the seller verification process.
 - Provide your name, nationality, and location.
 - Once verified, you'll receive a secret key that allows you to list, mark as sold, or delete your items.
 
3. Is there a fee to list or sell items?
UBUYIT may charge a service fee for listings or transactions. Fees, if applicable, will be clearly explained before you post or complete a transaction. Always review the fee details when listing an item.
4. What payment methods are accepted?
Payments are arranged directly between buyers and sellers. Mobile Money and Bank Transfers are the preferred payment methods. Always agree on a secure and convenient payment option before finalizing the deal.
5. What if the item I bought isn't as described?
If you receive an item that does not match the seller's description:
- Contact the seller first to request a refund.
 - If the seller is uncooperative, you can escalate the matter by filing a complaint with the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC).
 - UBUYIT will assist you with information about the seller from our records if needed.
 
6. How can I report a problem or suspicious activity?
Please report any suspicious listings, fraudulent behavior, or policy violations to our support team at support@ubuyit.store. We take customer safety seriously and will investigate all reports.
7. What items are prohibited from being sold?
You are not allowed to sell:
- Stolen goods
 - Counterfeit products
 - Illegal or prohibited items under Zambian law
 - Any item that violates intellectual property rights
 
UBUYIT reserves the right to remove any listings that breach our rules.
8. Is my personal information safe with UBUYIT?
Yes. We collect and use your information in line with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data to third parties. Your information is only used to facilitate safe transactions and improve your experience on our platform.
9. Can I delete my account if I no longer want to use UBUYIT?
Yes, you can request account deletion at any time. Send an email to support@ubuyit.store requesting removal. Please note that some transaction records may be kept for legal or security reasons.
10. What if I forget my secret key or password?
If you forget your secret key or password:
- Use the recovery option on the login page if available.
 - Or contact our support team for assistance.
 
11. Can I negotiate the price with the seller?
Absolutely! UBUYIT is a direct marketplace. Buyers and sellers are encouraged to discuss and negotiate prices before finalizing the sale.
12. Does UBUYIT offer delivery services?
Currently, UBUYIT does not directly offer delivery services. Delivery and pickup arrangements are handled between buyers and sellers. Always agree clearly on who will handle shipping or pickup.
