Ubuyit reserves the right to request additional information as needed. Sellers will be given a secret key for listing, marking sold, and deleting items.
1.2 Accuracy of Information:
All information provided by sellers must be accurate and truthful. Providing false information may result in account suspension or termination.
1.3 User Account:
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account details and for all activities that occur under their account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
2. Listing and Selling Items
2.1 Ownership:
You may only list items for sale that belong to you or that you are authorized to sell as a verified reseller agent. By listing an item, you represent and warrant that you have the legal right to sell the item.
2.2 Prohibited Items:
The sale of stolen goods or items obtained through illegal means is strictly prohibited. Ubuyit reserves the right to remove any listings suspected of involving illegal activities.
2.3 Item Descriptions:
Sellers must provide accurate descriptions of the items they list, including condition, specifications, and any other relevant details. Misleading or false descriptions may result in penalties.
3. Buying Items
3.1 Buyer Responsibility:
Buyers are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a purchase. By making a purchase, you agree to the terms set by the seller in the item listing.
3.2 Transactions:
All transactions conducted on Ubuyit are between the buyer and the seller. Ubuyit does not take ownership of any items or assume responsibility for transactions.
4. Fees and Payments
4.1 Service Fees:
Ubuyit may charge fees for listing items and for transactions conducted on the platform. These fees will be clearly stated and agreed upon before any charges are incurred.
4.2 Payments:
Payment processing can be conducted by using mobile money or bank transfer depending on the discussions between the buyer and the seller. Ubuyit is not responsible for any issues arising from payment transactions.
5. User Conduct
5.1 Prohibited Conduct:
Users must not engage in any activities that are harmful, fraudulent, or illegal. This includes, but is not limited to, selling counterfeit items, engaging in fraudulent transactions, or violating the intellectual property rights of others.
5.2 Respectful Communication:
Users must communicate respectfully and professionally. Harassment, abuse, or discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated.
6. Disputes and Resolution
6.1 Dispute Resolution:
In the event of a dispute between buyers and sellers, Ubuyit will provide mediation to help resolve the issue. However, Ubuyit is not liable for any losses or damages arising from disputes.
6.2 Reporting Issues:
Users are encouraged to report any issues or violations of these terms to Ubuyit management for investigation.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
7.1 Data Use:
Ubuyit collects and uses personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the website, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described.
8. Changes to Terms
8.1 Modifications:
